The part everyone asks about

Free for campgrounds. The guest pays a small fee instead.

Here is every cost, in plain terms:

Guest booking fee. A small percentage, paid by the guest at checkout, never by you. For many campgrounds it is as little as three dollars Canadian, and it shrinks as stays get longer. A month-long stay carries one small flat fee, total.
Card processing. On the free plan it is your only cost, at the standard rate. Every booking platform has this.
The free plan stays free. No expiry, no year-two invoice, no surprise renewal pricing.
Tax, handled. Tax on online bookings is collected from the guest for you.
