Northern Stay is a membership providing access to curated Canadian Campgrounds nationwide. Members enjoy seasonal or lifetime access to a network of campgrounds from May to October, with no nightly fees. A single fee allows for unlimited stays within the pass terms.

How does it work?

Once you purchase a Seasonal or Lifetime Pass, you’ll get secure login access to our private Member Portal—your all-in-one dashboard for planning and booking stress-free getaways.

From there, you can:

View campgrounds across Canada, all vetted for quality, charm, and community

Browse things like amenities, pet policies, and local attractions

Book and manage reservations, and plan your season with confidence

From our all-inclusive Lifetime Membership to flexible Seasonal Passes covering the East Coast, West Coast, or all of Canada—we’ve built a system that works for a wide range of travel styles and regions.

To ensure fair access for all members, Northern Stay uses a simple booking system: you can stay up to 21 consecutive days, followed by a mandatory 7-day break outside the network.

This helps prevent overbooking and keeps availability fair across all parks for all members.

For travellers who need uninterrupted stays, we offer the Park-Hopper Pass—an optional upgrade that removes the 7-day gap and allows seamless movement between parks.

• Lifetime members can add Park-Hopper at the start of the camping season for $129/month, billed alongside their $79 monthly maintenance fee. Unlike the maintenance fee, which is billed year-round, Park-Hopper is only charged during the active camping season and automatically drops off in the off-season.
  
• Seasonal memberships can add Park-Hopper as a one-time $349 fee, valid for the duration of their 6-month pass.
  

This add-on is perfect for full-time RVers, digital nomads, and long-haul travelers who need maximum flexibility while on the road.

We guarantee space is set aside for members during each season — but bookings are first come, first served. Members with longer booking windows (like Lifetime members) have earlier access to claim popular dates.

We’re only issuing a limited number of Lifetime Memberships. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. That exclusivity means your membership is not just a pass—it’s a finite asset. As demand for access grows and no new Lifetime slots are released, your membership may gain resale value.

To maintain quality and consistency, all transfers require written approval and a signed Terms of Service agreement by the new owner.

Northern Stay’s Lifetime Membership is structured as an equitable asset. This means it is not a rental or subscription — it is a membership you fully own, with the ability to transfer, resell, or retain indefinitely. Below is a breakdown of what this includes:

You retain full ownership
When you purchase a Lifetime Membership, it belongs to you. It is not leased, licensed, or time-bound. You are free to use it each camping season as long as your membership is active and in good standing.

You can resell your membership
We offer an internal Member Marketplace that allows Lifetime Members to list their passes for resale at any time. You set the price. You keep the proceeds. Northern Stay simply verifies the buyer and facilitates a seamless ownership transfer.

This flexibility allows members to:

Exit the program if lifestyle or travel needs change

Recoup or potentially exceed their original investment

Pass on access to someone else if no longer needed

Resale value may increase
Because the number of Lifetime Memberships is permanently capped at 200, scarcity may contribute to future demand and resale value. While Northern Stay does not guarantee appreciation, resale activity will be visible on the internal platform, allowing supply and demand to determine value organically.

You can transfer your pass
In addition to resale, members may transfer ownership to a friend, family member, or other party. All transfers are verified through Northern Stay’s internal system to maintain account integrity and booking access.

Northern Stay is built around Canada’s traditional camping season — six months of access spanning spring to early winter. Most parks in our network operate from May through October, based on regional weather and operational capacity.

However, select partner parks in British Columbia will offer year-round access starting in 2026, giving members even more flexibility to camp when and where it suits them.

What is the 14/7 and 21/7 Policy?

At Northern Stay, all members can stay up to 21 consecutive nights at any of our Standard Parks, followed by a required 7-night break outside the network before returning.

For Premium Parks, the stay limit is 14 consecutive nights, with the same 7-night break afterward.

Want to skip the cooldown? Members with the Park-Hopper add-on can move directly between parks without the 7-night break — even between Premium locations.

This system helps ensure fair access for all members while supporting flexible, extended travel across Canada.
