Alpine Meadows is a beautiful site in the mountains near Clearwater BC. I felt welcomed and very relaxed once I was on site and really enjoyed camping here this summer. The maintenance crew in particular Jay, Pat & Kevyn were standout staff that helped me out a couple of times. I will say the drive in is pretty bumpy and the check in staff lacked RV knowledge. I was initially put in a 30amp spot when I had booked a 50amp. When I brought it to the check in staff they had no idea what 50/30amp meant.

we are first timers, on our "maiden voyage" so haven't previous experience to make a comparison. That being said, experience was quite good, the staff was pleasant and friendly and it seemed the grounds were well cared for. Our visit was late season, so while the pool looked to be in good shape and well maintained we did not swim in it. We will probably be back in the spring!
