Northern Stay Pricing Guide: What You Get, What It Costs, and How It Works

Northern Stay is Canada’s first campground membership that gives travellers access to a growing network of parks for up to six months of the year—from spring through early winter. With no nightly rates, and one flat membership fee, we’re redefining what it means to roam freely across Canada.

This guide explains the pricing structure, what’s included with each pass, how the system works, and how we ensure high-quality experiences across our partner parks.

Lifetime Membership

Our flagship membership gives you lifetime access to the Northern Stay park network.

Financing Available: From as low as $103.73/month + HST for 60 months
Total Membership Cost: $4,999 one-time, this grants lifetime access to the network. 
Ongoing Maintenance Fee: $79/month (billed separately, year-round)

You can choose to pay the full amount upfront or finance your membership over 5 years at a 9% fixed interest rate, with monthly payments of $103.73. There are no penalties for early repayment, and financing is available with no money down.

Your monthly maintenance fee of $79 is billed all year and ensures improvements and upgrades to the platform, booking tools, and support services. It also allows us to onboard new parks, maintain quality standards, and invest in continuous upgrades across the network—even in the off-season to improve your guest experience. 

What’s Included:
• Access for up to 180 days each year
• No nightly fees at any participating parks
• Stay up to: 21 consecutive nights at Standard Parks
• After each stay, a 7-day break from all parks is required
• Optional Park-Hopping Add-On: $129/month for the season to bypass the 7-day break
• Book stays up to 90 days in advance
• Founding Members receive exclusive event invitations and pricing locks
• Includes access to all future parks as the network expands

Seasonal Membership Passes

For travellers who want access for a single season, our annual passes offer a clear and affordable way to explore without nightly fees. Valid for one 6-month travel season.

All of Canada Pass — $1,199/year

  • Access to all current and future Northern Stay parks

  • Stay limits: 14 nights at Premium Parks, 21 nights at Standard Parks

  • 7-day break required between bookings

  • 60-day booking window

  • No Maintenance Fees 

  • Optional Upgrades:

    • Park-Hopping: $349/season

Ideal For: Long-distance travellers, working nomads, or those planning a summer road trip across multiple provinces.

West Coast Pass — $899/year

  • Access to parks in British Columbia and Alberta

  • Same stay limits and rules as above

  • No Maintenance Fees

Ideal For: Western Canada explorers, mountain and coastal campers, and local residents.

East Coast Pass — $799/year

  • Access to parks in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, and Newfoundland & Labrador

  • Same stay limits and rules as above

  • No Maintenance Fees 

Ideal For: Atlantic Canada travellers or anyone planning a seasonal adventure along the coast.

How the Membership Works

Founders Membership Pricing Is Limited

The $4,999 Lifetime Membership is only available to our first 200 members. Once public enrolment opens, both pricing and benefits will change. Financing is available for up to 5 years with no money down for terms of 60 months. All pricing is subject to applicable HST.
