This is an adorable, spacious RV park. There is a lot of space, so you don't feel crammed in. Lots of beautiful green fields- and paths that lead down to the water. There were kayaks that guests could use. This place is paradise for kids and dogs- so much space! The surroundings are so lovely. Great area for biking- as not much car traffic. A beautiful, easy 10 km cycle to the lighthouse.
I've personally stayed there in a tent for a month. I had a serviced lot so I could have electricity in my tent. I loved it, the tenting area was great, the pegs went in so easily I could push them in deep with my hand. The staff were great and really accommodating. The amenities really helped my stay be that much more comfortable, indoor showers, and toilet areas. And a laundry facility.
I stayed 3 nights alone with my dog and really enjoyed my stay. This is a low key humble campground perfect for people who don't like modern overcrowded sardine stacked campground. The owner is very welcoming and kind. All the campers were great (except a group who was loud and played music from their car but they were told to put it down). This is a very dog friendly place also. The ice-cream is excellent and you get generous scoops :). Wifi works great.
Bathrooms and showers are a but older but they work great. If you expect modern facilities and expect glamping - this isn't the place for y
