Cost Calculator FAQ

How much does camping cost per night?
Private campgrounds in Canada and the US typically charge $65–$120 per night — and peak season pricing pushes that higher. July and August weekends at popular waterfront and mountain locations can run $95–$140+/night, with Friday and Saturday nights often priced at a premium above midweek rates. A long weekend booking in peak season can cost $300–$400+ for three nights before you factor in any add-ons.
At what point does a camping membership pay for itself?
At $75/night average, a $999 Getaway Pass pays for itself after 14 nights. At $80/night, it's 13 nights. At $60/night, you break even at 17 nights. If you camp fewer nights than that in a season, paying per night directly costs less — the calculator above tells you exactly where you stand. Membership is a good deal for regular campers; if you camp 10 nights or fewer a year, it isn't.
Does the Lifestyle Membership cost calculation change over time?
Yes — and that's the point. The Lifestyle Membership one-time fee of $4,999 looks expensive in year one, but over 5 seasons a serious camper typically spends $8,000–$15,000 in nightly rates. By year three, most Lifetime Members are significantly ahead. The $79/month maintenance fee is the only recurring cost after the initial purchase.
