Bass Cove Resort — Napanee, Ontario

Upon arrival there was no signage to indicate where the office was. A resident advised us to go to the manager/owner’s trailer. Having just travelled through all of Eastern Canada in the past few weeks and staying at several beautiful campgrounds, this place was shocking. The permanent trailers were, for the most part, absolute dumps! We did locate the owner at her shack who directed us with her golf cart to an empty site behind the permanent sites. It has deep ruts across it, had a rusted out fire pit and no picnic table. We had paid $85 for this!! It was after dinner so we figured there was

Stayed in this park for a total of 3 months I believe. All I can say is if you are going to be a long term camper KEEP TO YOURSELF, if you don’t expect rumours to be spread around the park and to be made to feel unwelcome. The treatment I experienced at this trailer park was beyond disrespectful to say the least. As far as one of the management screaming in one of my children’s faces and making us extremely uncomfortable causing issues for my family. Stayed a weekend there. On arrival we drop past alot of seasonal units that looked that falling down shacks. 1st site we passed was all decked out with a big F... Trudeau sign. Kids running around. News flash, kids can read! If the owners allow this display of foul language on sites they should remove 'family campground' from the name. Disgusting place. Will not return and recommend others to go some place else.
