Arrived at our site for our stay, when setting up I could smell an awful smell, walked around our site and discovered the smell was a squirrel that had been caught in a trap and then left to die and rot. I found this very disturbing. Although the park was clean and the owners seemed quite nice, this part of my stay was not pleasant for me. If you are going to trap animals then either trap them and relocate them or kill them and then dispose of them right away, don’t leave them to die, rot and then smell.
My husband and I stayed here a total of 3 nights. The last evening, my husband had a seizure and fell, he was injured and did go unconscious for a moment of time. We called an ambulance and we’re taken to a hospital. We are quiet and neighbourly people, so we were quite shocked when the employees and RCMP arrived to kick us out the evening after we went to the hospital. Their reasoning for kicking us out “You caused a disturbance with the ambulance, and you drive to much.” We are absolutely appalled with this entire situation. We will never be staying here again.
Not to mention the family that
I inquired about a room by the email listed on their website. Never did hear back from them.
