Fort Steele Resort & RV Park — Fort Steele, British Columbia

Very nice place but found that tenting cost per night is high. The reason I say this is, The huge downside to the tenting area is thats its right by the highway very close. Its very noisy through the night. Fair amount of truck traffic throught the night and early morning traffic. But other wise great place friendly staff. Spots are clean and tidy.

The location is great. The staff inside the store was friendly. Ice cream is great. The washrooms and the swimming pool is in absolute disrepair. Hence why the low rating.

My aunt was staying out here for the weekend, we came by one night to visit. The owner came flying up to their site and proceeded to tie into me about parking. I asked 7 or 8 times where to park while she was losing it like a lunatic before she finally told me where to park then proceeded to tell my wife shes making a report. I would have gladly moved the car wherever she had said right away, but she decided to immediately come at us aggressively instead of asking nicely for us to move our car. Im not sure how she has any customers at all running around site to site giving everyone trouble. I’
