Gallagher Lake RV Resort

We have been coming to Gallagher for 17 years. This year my teen girls were at the lake and someone played a “prank” on them and threw their belongings including a new iPhone into one of the garbage cans on the beach. By the time they noticed their stuff was gone ( the groundskeepers are very diligent about emptying the garbages around the whole campsite) the garbages had already been emptied to a dumpster. The front desk girls were amazing about radioing the guys on the lower campground to help join in the search.. Using find my app we were able to figure out the phone was in a dumpster. BRAD

This campground is well maintained and full of great families. Amenities are always clean and the staff are pleasant (Although they drive their gold carts a little too fast). As a family with small children we were very disappointed in the beach area. Campers set up their chairs along the water early in the morning leaving them there unattended until they are ready to be at the beach. This leaves only a walking lane to get to the water to swim. It was awkward to try and play in the sand with the kids because there was literally no beach! I think they need to manage this for families.

Beautiful campground. Very kid friendly, so lots of normal kid noise between 0920 and 2230. The roads inside the park are very tight, so choose your site carefully with awareness of your rig's size and maneuverability. Although there is a dog-welcome side and one that's supposed to be dog free, that only comes into effect July and August.
