Georgian Bay Park — Tiny, Ontario Campground

Such a beautiful campground minutes from town and the beaches. Nestled in the pines, our site has just the right amount of shade. The sites are very large with access to open grassy areas scattered throughout the park for throwing ball and letting the kids run. At the main gate we were greeted by a lovely lady named Jannette. Super friendly, kind hearted and loves what she does. The pool is absolutely amazing and there is a very modern playground. This is a must if you are staying in the area.

All around great park! Would definitely come back. Location was great for driving to the beach. Campground was clean and spots were spacious. Only disappointment was the pool closing at 8:00, which for the summertime when it stays light out until 9:30, seemed to be too early to close. One other complaint was having only one of the four or five public washrooms/showers available. Perhaps not wanting to clean them, so they keep them locked?

It was our first time at this park and we were blown away. Park staff friendly and welcoming. Well maintained park, sites spacious, level with enough trees to offer privacy. Grounds well maintained, you can see that lots of thought put into the planning/layout of the facilities. This is definitely our favourite campground to date and we have been to more than 24 across 5 provinces as well as 1 in the US. Will be back when the trees change colours.
