Harbour Light Campground is a beautiful and very special place.
From the moment we checked in and were welcomed with ice cream, Cameron was generous, warm and welcoming. We stayed on Site 103 and loved the location, just ten minutes from a beautiful sandy beach where Lennie and Billie (our dogs) had a wonderful time in the water.
The campground is exceptionally well cared for. The amenities are serviced regularly, the laundry facilities are excellent, and the family and staff are always working to keep everything running smoothly. They are just good and decent human beings.
What we apprecia
What a pleasure to arrive here after a long drive from the bottom of Nova Scotia. The owner greeted us with a genuine smile and such hospitality that we immediately felt at home. Sitting a while in his office, we chatted and met a few seasonal campers. We stayed one night over looking the beautiful Atlantic before heading into Cape Breton along the Cabot Trail. Our experience here was so pleasant that we had to return for another night. This is when our host suggested we walk through the campground and down to the beach. What a lovely afternoon it was. We found the campground on Google and were very pleased with it. The owner is incredibly friendly and gave us two blueberry muffins as a welcome gift. We had a lovely spot right on the water with good Wi-Fi.
The next morning, we filled up on propane before leaving. And to our surprise, we didn’t have to pay anything because it was such a small amount.
This campground comes highly recommended.
