What a bizarre place. Could be really great with the stunning views of Shannon falls. However let down by lack of staff, unkempt site and underlying unwelcoming tones. You book yourself in and see no one. The facilities are far short of what I would expect for a price close to Whistler prices - no hot water for washing up and in the bathrooms is astonishing for 75CAD a night. Not to mention paying extra for WiFi and showers. Strange threatening notices everywhere you look, threat of fines for pretty much anything made it very unwelcoming. Don’t recommend. I booked this campground last minute because I was driving down from Whistler to catch the 8:30 AM ferry and wanted to stay closer so I didn’t have to wake up quite as early. I paid around $75 for my site, which felt expensive considering it wasn’t particularly nice or scenic. I was surprised to find that the showers required an additional fee. Paying extra for showers after spending $75 on a campsite felt unreasonable. There is a change machine behind the office if you need coins. Great location | great campsite #116 We had a great experience camping here. We booked in advance for a dry rv spot. Last minute, we called to ask if we could let our friend stay at the site with his tent. They said there was enough room. While this campground may be pricey, I think it’s worth it compared to the other places we’ve stayed at. I love the spot we had. It was spacious and our part of the campground felt more quiet and private. I highly recommend the sites across from us, like sites 101-103. They have beautiful water views and water hookups.
