Just a beautiful stunning property - very well maintained. Stayed for one night at the campground with a camper van. It was perfect for my needs. Electrical outlet to charge my power box and power banks up..water to fill my water jugs. Beautiful log cabin with a nice washroom and shower facilities. Even barbecued a piece of salmon I had on the BBQ facility. The price was very reasonable for all I got. It was just what I needed. No complaints.
Currently travelling across Canada with my mother and two very old animals a small cat and small dog we desperately needed to pull over and let our critters out to stretch their legs and we came across this OPEN campground. everything was going good until the owner rudely came out and asked us “what are you doing here” I said “just letting our animals out to stretch their legs” he then rudely responded with “you can’t be here this is private property you need to leave Right now!”. We immediately left after that..given that this Industry is based on tourism I do not recommend unfriendly place t
We needed space for a few families to stay and hang out, in McBride specifically, otherwise we would have never stumbled across this place. For the first 24 hours of our stay we didn't see anyone else, the office was closed during check in hours, which was kind of bizarre. The cabins were nice! They were roomy enough, the beds were very comfortable. Some of the amenities were a little rough around the edges, our stove temperature couldn't be turned down, most of the window screens were broken, one person in our party fell on the pavement when the picnic table they tried to sit at crumpled u
