The campground is conveniently located within 20 minutes of the ferry coming from Nova Scotia. It was a beautiful scenic ride and very easy to find the campground. They have wide campsites and at least a dozen cabins. They are expanding to another 60 campsites with Cement pads. They have a beautiful 50 person inground pool with a patio chairs and fire pits. There’s a gorgeous river behind the property with hiking trails. They have a restaurant on property with everything homemade. Even homemade danishes, biscuits, muffins and pies. We were looking for something a little off the beaten path to stay several days in our Airstream and we found it!
Leslie and her crew were so welcoming, informative and helpful.
The Deck restaurant was a wonderful plus with an excellent breakfast!
Beautiful scenery right on the river with a local fisherman able to supply us with fresh oysters harvested that morning was such a treat.
A large field we could walk our dogs to and let them off leash…..
Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.
We spent two nights in a cozy cottage overlooking the Fox River while in town for an ATV trail event supporting Eastern Kings ATV Club, Queens East ATV Club, and The Kidney Foundation. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and we loved the on-site restaurant—think home-cooked meals, solid sandwiches, and bakery treats (yes, the desserts are worth it). The cottages are small but snug—dated in a charming, nostalgic way. For outdoor and adventure lovers, this spot hits just right.
