We were camping for a week and enjoyed everything! Food at the Deck was good, pool was superb and the bathrooms were super clean. You are in the country so mosquitoes are there. Bring some fly dope, we had a thermacell that works great. A little hare came to visit. It was a quiet campground. More busy on the weekend but still quiet. We loved the location so we can explore the east coast. Will return again.

This is a small quaint campground with cottages and camp site rentals. The washrooms are clean. Sites are a decent size. Some sites have a spectacular view overlooking the tidal Fox River. There is a community firpit which the owner will start in the evneing. As well, they have canoe, kayak and paddle boat rentals. Site widths are clearly marked so you know where your's starts and ends. many activities there for both adults and kids. There are only 21 sites in total for booking. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

We were looking for something a little off the beaten path to stay several days in our Airstream and we found it! Leslie and her crew were so welcoming, informative and helpful. The Deck restaurant was a wonderful plus with an excellent breakfast! Beautiful scenery right on the river with a local fisherman able to supply us with fresh oysters harvested that morning was such a treat. A large field we could walk our dogs to and let them off leash….. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.
