Located 25 minutes from Duncan, 35 minutes from Langford, and about an hour from Nanaimo, it makes a quiet home base for exploring the Cowichan Valley and southern Vancouver Island.

Retreat Underwood offers three large boondocking-style RV campsites, each with a big private plot and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the woods. Every site has its own character, named for what grows around it.
At the top of the property. Named for the foxglove that escaped an English garden long ago and now self-seeds through the forest, its tall pink flower spikes reaching through the underwood.
