The resort is absolutely gorgeous! The room we stayed in was breathtaking (rose room). However the only we had was cleanliness, I noticed the tiles were looking dirty so I wiped it with a Lysol wipe and to my horror they were absolutely filthy! I believe since the entire unit is tile it should be mopped after every visit. I did not feel comfortable even taking a shower and stepping out because of how dirty it was. Other than that it was great experience, the wonderful waitress at the restaurant was so sweet and kind to us. :)
Stunning location, beautiful golf course, club house & restaurant, highly recommended but the rooms are not good. We stayed in the Ivan suite , it’s a bedroom only, no ensuite. Have to share a washroom & lounge area. It’s more like a hostel but 5 star hotel pricing…they call their rooms suites which is not true.
I can confidently say Sandpiper Resort was the best resort experience I’ve had, not only in Canada but anywhere in the world. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect, if heaven could be described as a place, this would be it. It is beyond peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful in every way.
The staff were all amazing, every single person we interacted with was professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special. The level of hospitality here is truly rare.
