I was here in 2016 , when the old owners were trying to sell the resort.
But the new owners have taken it to a new level.
If you can get your hands on a cabin , do so!
Right by the ferry terminal , just outside of Crawford Bay. So easy acesss to many amazing things to do and places to see!
The resort is family owned and ran.
They also have chickens and an outstanding garden.
So you can buy fresh eggs and herbs!!

They are so friendly, and jumping to help you with anything!

Tented in the campground for a couple days in July. The place has a majority of long term campers that are very friendly and respectful and the place is quiet except for the cottage being built, the construction worker start during the “quite time” hours posted in the office. Other that that no really complaints
I’d recommend you get one of the beach sites if available. The area is crazy busy on weekend but during the weekdays you’ll likely have the beach to yourself.
It’s very close to the ferry terminal, nearby coffee shops and a restaurant and is a quick drive to Crawford Bay.
As a casual car-camper who always manages to forget something imperative this place had me covered:
-Dish soap and a full sink to wash dishes
-A tap and several outlets at our camp site
-Even wifi which was great as I forgot to download an episode of the series I was binging.
The owners delivered firewood and garden-grown cucumbers to our campsite and were incredibly easy to communicate with via text.
Not only were the other guests friendly and helpful this is one of the most beautiful spots to camp in the country.
