We pulled into the resort and found the owner to be friendly and accommodating. We were happy to have found that they have showers. We were coming to the end of our trip of riding the #Northisland1000 and couldn't find a place (without renting a hotel room) that had showers as we were camping along our route. The grounds are beautiful and the location was perfect. If you are doing the North Island 1000 the resort is located right where you enter town when coming from Campbell river or heading towards Gold River. The gas station/market and restaurant are all right across the highway.

Located near the highway, but you only hear the loudest of motorcycles during the day. Run by hood people who are building this business up. It can only get better. Largest campsite I have ever rented. This used to be a mobile home park. River nearby which my dog loved. The river was low so there was no danger for my dog. No long trails to walk other than the short one by the river. Sayward is nearby for resupply. Washrooms were well maintained. I definitely will stay here again.

We spent one night here while doing a camping trip from Victoria to Port Hardy and back. We wish that we spent more time. Mike was very friendly, everything was clean and in good working order, it was quiet, and the surroundings are beautiful. Very easy to find, and close to a small grocery store, gas station, and BC Hydro EV rapid chargers. This is a must stay!
