Is there really no nightly fee? ▾
At nearly every campground in the Northern Stay network, your membership covers the full nightly cost — $0 per night. There are no hidden charges or surprise fees.
What does the $79/month maintenance fee cover on the Lifestyle Membership? ▾
The $79/month fee covers the costs of maintaining the network — campground partner agreements, platform operations, booking system, and member support. It is the only ongoing charge on the Lifestyle Membership. There is no annual renewal fee on top of this, and it never increases without notice.
When does the 2026 season open? ▾
Northern Stay is launching for the 2026 season. Join the waitlist now to secure your membership at launch pricing and get early access to the booking window before the general public.
Can I use my membership across multiple provinces? ▾
Yes — every Getaway Pass and Lifestyle Membership covers all 68 campgrounds across all 10 provinces and the Yukon. There's no regional restriction. Book in BC one week and Newfoundland the next.
What is the 7-day refund guarantee? ▾
Every Northern Stay membership comes with a 14-day refund (conditions apply) window. If you purchase and decide within the first 7 days that it's not right for you, contact us at admin@northernstay.com for a complete refund — no questions asked.
Is the Lifestyle Membership transferable? ▾
Yes — the Lifestyle Membership is fully transferable. You can transfer it to another person, which also makes it a meaningful gift for a family member or travel partner. Contact us at admin@northernstay.com for transfer details.
What if I only camp in one region? ▾
The Getaway Pass and Lifestyle Membership cover the full network, so regional campers benefit too — you're simply accessing campgrounds in your preferred area. Seasonal regional passes may be available from $999 to $1,999 for campers focused on a specific part of Canada. Ask on the waitlist for details.
How is this different from KOA or Thousand Trails? ▾
KOA is a discount card — you still pay per night. Thousand Trails is a membership model but has very limited Canadian locations. Northern Stay is the only campground membership built specifically for Canada, with no nightly fees, coast-to-coast coverage across all provinces and the Yukon, and campgrounds run by independent Canadian operators.
