Is a camping membership worth it in British Columbia? ▾

If you camp 10 or more nights per season, yes. A Getaway Pass is $999 for 30 nights at partner campgrounds.

When do BC provincial park reservations open? ▾

BC Parks' Discover Camping system uses a rolling window — reduced to 3 months ahead of arrival for the 2026 season — with new dates opening at 7:00 a.m. PT daily at camping.bcparks.ca. Garibaldi, Cultus Lake and Golden Ears fill quickly on opening morning. Visitors from outside B.C. pay an extra $20 per booking from May 15, 2026.
