Peachland, British Columbia
Peachland is a small lakeside community on the west shore of Okanagan Lake, in the Central Okanagan region of British Columbia. It sits roughly midway between Kelowna to the north and Penticton to the south, with Summerland just down the highway. Highway 97 is the main corridor through town, and Kelowna International Airport is about 40 kilometres northeast.
The Okanagan Valley has one of Canada's driest, warmest climates. Summers in Peachland are hot and dry — daytime temperatures commonly sit in the high 20s to mid 30s°C through July and August. Shoulder seasons are mild, and winters are generally temperate by Canadian standards. The valley is hemmed in by mountains on both sides of the lake, giving the region its distinctive semi-arid landscape of dry grassland, ponderosa pine, and terraced vineyards.
This is British Columbia's primary wine and tree-fruit region. The area around Peachland is dotted with wineries, cideries, and orchards producing cherries, peaches, apples, and pears. Okanagan Lake itself is roughly 135 km long and a focal point for swimming, boating, paddleboarding, fishing, and beachside picnicking through the summer. Within easy reach of Peachland are Hardy Falls Regional Park, Pincushion Mountain, Antlers Beach, and the Trepanier Creek area.

“An absolute gem in the Okanagan. We stayed 7 months as we just did not want to leave. The lots are huge and many are private, hookups modern and flawless, and yes—fibre internet if you stay long term. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and active in the community.”

“Our second year coming and just as great as last. Site was spacious and the full hookups excellent. Big-rig friendly and close to both West Kelowna and Peachland. We misunderstood the washing-machine operation, and even after hours got quick assistance.”

“The sites are large, level, and have full hookups — which made setting up super easy. Everything is very clean and well kept, and the whole park has such a peaceful, aesthetic feel surrounded by trees. Tucked up the mountain just enough to feel like you’re in the forest, but still only a few minutes from town.”

“Located near a busy highway. They will charge your credit card if you speed or don’t fully stop at their stop signs — they think they have peace-officer status. Showers require payment, but only if you know the special sequence to make them work; spent $14 on a 7-minute shower. No trees for shade — it’s a gravel quarry turned RV park.”

“The site is clean and spacious, as are the spots. The problem was that there is only one toilet and one paid shower stall for the entire campground, unlike so many other RV parks.”
